Course 10-18
Holes 10, 12, 13 and parts of hole 18 remain original even if most of the holes, both old and new, have gone through major changes in the past 50 years. With this the layout of the course has been significantly improved and a typical links character was achieved.
The designers for these holes have been Jan Sederholm, Ronald Fream, David Kidd, and Peter Chamberlain.
Burns, brooks, waterholes, beach dunes and the sea all frame the holes on this loop. In the rough we find many different plants such as heather, bell heather and fescue creating a challenge for every player. Ducks, coots and eagles give a special atmosphere to this section.
This loop can be quite entertaining with a strong wind blowing and long and narrow par fours. The course ends with a dog-leg par five along the sea to a large slightly elevated undulating green. A suitable ending in the Ljunghusen links landscape.
